It's Gonna Be Good...

It's Gonna Be Good...

Hey friends! I am loving the positive buzz around 2018. It seems like everyone I talk to is saying "I have a good feeling about 2018" and it is so refreshing and energizing to me. Instead of making the dreaded New Year's resolution, I decided to do more of what makes me happy. That starts with 3 things...music, yoga, and of course RAMBLIN' ROSE CO! So I'll start with a song that I would suggest you crankin up loud wherever you are "So Into You by Atlanta Rhythm Section". I can't stop listening to that song. I do this thing where I find a song I love, then I listen to it until I am sick of it. I don't mean to...it's just like I get addicted to 1 song and listen to it over and over. I am going to skip writing about yoga since I will be starting that one this week ;). So onto Ramblin Rose...I have already started out this year in a mad dash to make some big changes. First thing this morning, I finally published my website. Is it perfect? NOPE! Will I work on it and change it a million times? YEP! Can people finally see it? Yes! That is really exciting to me and it's a big deal because I have been scared to publish it for a YEAR! I challenge you to think about something that you have been putting off for a month or a year and do it!

On my drive back from Louisiana over the holidays, I started thinking about how to get the marketplace vibe back over to Barton Springs. After talking with my landlord, he has agreed to having me start an Artist's and Maker's Market!!! I am so excited to start this and I can't wait to meet some amazing artists in Austin. There are so many! So...if you know someone that you think would be a great fit, please have them email me. We are going to start with 5 vendors and then grow from there. I currently have 2 spots left for the first market on Feb 3 and it will be from 2-5 PM. And of course, you know I can't throw a shindig without LIVE MUSIC so get ready for some Marshall Hood Band (Bob TarterSauce and the Tub Thumpers).

The next post is going to be about how I got started and what made me want to start a trailer boutique so stay tuned...
